IP Showcase Takes to the Water at IBC2023
The IP Showcase is back for a unique one-day event on the water! This year at IBC, the IP Showcase will take place on a canal cruise boat from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 17. The event comprises six one-hour cruises. Each will accommodate up to 35 attendees and feature two 20-minute sessions from top experts, for a total of 12 presentations on a wide range of IP-related topics.
Hosted by AIMS, AMWA and VSF, with participation also from AES, EBU and SMPTE, the IP Showcase will highlight the great strides that have been made in achieving an all-IP ecosystem for all of today’s real-world media productions.
The success of the IP Showcase in the past was entirely a result of the quality of the presentations, and this year will be no different. So once again, we’re reaching out to request your proposals. While all submissions are welcome and will be considered, this year we are particularly interested in presentation that cover:
- VSF updates including Ground-Cloud-Cloud Ground (GCCG)
- AMWA updates including topics on NDI, Labeling/Naming/Management
- SMPTE ST 2110 including new subparts -11 and -25
- Monitoring, Managing, and Troubleshooting
- Hybrid and Dematerialized Designs
- NMOS
- Timing (PTP)
- IPMX
- RIST
- Audio – timing planes and synchronization
- Planning a production and the impacts of timing, sync, and security
Please submit your presentation proposals using the form below. All speakers must be able to commit to a minimum of one hour on the boat. There are a limited number of speaking slots available, so don’t delay!
Submission Deadline is August 9.
Boats will be departing from Strandzuid, located near RAI Amsterdam at Europaplein 22, 1078 GZ Amsterdam.
