IP Showcase Returns to the Water at IBC2025

The IP Showcase will return to the water at IBC2025, and this year it’s all about IPMX. Taking place on canal cruise boats from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 14, the unique one-day event will consist of six one-hour cruises. Each will accommodate up to 35 attendees and feature two 20-minute sessions from top experts, for a total of 12 presentations on a wide range of open standards-related topics.

Proposals for papers are now being accepted by IP Showcase partners as well as end users, industry associations, solutions providers, and technology developers — all of whom are invited to share their knowledge and perspectives on how the adoption of IPMX and IP technology is transforming all types of media organizations today and in the future. IP Showcase partners include Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS), Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA), and Video Services Forum (VSF).

  • Proposals are due by June 13, 2025

    Appropriate paper topics include:

    • Overview of IPMX
    • IPMX: where it is now, and where it’s going
    • IPMX IP for non-engineers: What do operations, resellers, management need to know?
    • IP Scorecard: How are we doing? Where are the gaps?
    • Making the business case for IP standards development
    • Updates from an industry body such as SMPTE, AMWA, VSF, OPA, etc.
    • How IPMX is addressing real-world problems
    • End-user case studies on deployments of all sizes, as well as post-deployment considerations
    • Dynamic Media Facilities (DMF)
    • Ground to Cloud, Cloud to Ground (GCCG)
    • NMOS

Please submit your presentation proposals using the form below.  All speakers must be able to commit to a minimum of one hour on the boat. There are a limited number of speaking slots available, so don’t delay!
